Given a smooth cubic fourfold in IP^5, one constructs various Hyperkähler manifolds, e.g. the variety parametrizing lines and the variety families of twisted cubics and their flat degenerations. Here I will discuss the geometry of these examples and their link with cubic fourfolds.
