Stefan Sauter (Institut für Mathematik Universität Zürich): A non-linear, non-local diffusion problem

In this talk we consider a non-linear diffusion problem with a non-local diffusion coefficient arising
from a model in population dynamics. We explain how to transform this problem to a fixed point
problem in either the set of real numbers or a linear Poisson problem has to be solved in each iteration.
Numerical experiments illustrate the performance of our solution method.
